Bow Wow Wow live at Sefton Park 07/09/82.

Bow Wow Wow were created in 1980 after Malcolm McLaren enticed the band members of the Ants away from Adam Ant.

McLaren introduced Annabella Lwin as lead singer. Adam was in the process of working Malcolm’s ideas into a new Ants with guitarist Marco Pironni. At the same time Malcolm used the same ideas for his new project, Bow Wow Wow. Great times for us lovers of the sound as we now had two great bands to enjoy.

Here is Bow Wow Wow performing live close to their peak, in full pomp and best line up. Dave Barbe on drums, Leigh Gorman on bass and the mighty Matthew Ashman on guitar. Vocals the irrepressible Annabella Lwin.

I believe Leigh Gorman is touring with a Annabella-less version of the band, so he is the sole original member. The horror, the horror. Enjoy this instead, accept no imitations.
